Since I sold my Zire 72 which contains my licensed Laridian MyBible with NIV translation, I have been looking for a bible for my Symbian Java-based mobile phone. I searched the net and found out that the Go Bible reader software is freeware and could be downloaded at this site but it does not have the NIV.  Its has the King James Version (KJV), a Tagalog version and a Spanish version.  I haven’t installed them yet but I’m excited to do so since I need a portable Tagalog Bible and I’m studying Spanish on the side.  I hope that they produce a World English Bible (WEB) soon because it’s free and it’s a literal translation like the KJV but is readable like the NIV. Recently, I found an NIV on another site but since it’s not part of the author’s original list, I don’t think it’s official so I guess the author of the software could not vouch for its authenticity or for its quality.
